Integris Microsite #2

Integris Grove MicroSite

This is another microsite that I did at Ackerman for Integris Grove Hospital. I like the way this turned out, however the coders dropped a major ball by using flash for the navigation rollovers. I even copy and pasted the sliding door snippet of code but no one ever wanted to do anything new there. I guess we were all too busy to learn new techniques, or rather catch up to last year. :\

Chesapeake Site Comp #5

Chesapeake Energy Website

This is comp #5 of the Chesapeake Energy Website redesign. So they migrated towards the last design and made some additional tweaks. I liked the next phase which was when we mocked up the “My CHK Tour Guide”. Essentially, in our HUGE area designated to video and animations, an audience-specific tour guide would appear and guide you through the site. In this comp, you have clicked the Royalty Owners’ Tour Guide. You will also notice the nav buttons fade from light to dark blue … I have no idea why, but those were part of the heavily directed commands that came from above.

Site is still in development as of this post. Enjoy!

Chesapeake Site Comp #4

Chesapeake Energy Website

This is comp #4 of the Chesapeake Energy Website redesign. After comp #3, someone up the ranks decided to have a huge screen for video and animation with the title, “The Age of Natural Gas.” And they wanted every button to be a different color, which I like but was apprehensive about doing. The next comp to follow …

Chesapeake Site Comp #3

Chesapeake Energy Website

This is comp #3 of the Chesapeake Energy Website redesign. This is a refined version of comp #1 but with more color and more content. I really like this color palette and wish they would have gone down this road. The next comp to follow …

Chesapeake Site Comp #2

Chesapeake Energy Website

This is comp #2 of the Chesapeake Energy Website redesign. This was after given a refined amount of content that would be featured on the home page. As you can see, this is WAY too much. I like the design, but we’ve got a lot going on which makes me, as the viewer, feel anxious. The next comp to follow …

Chesapeake Site Comp #1

Chesapeake Energy Website

Chesapeake Energy is a conglomerate with their sights set on nothing short of World Domination. However, believe in their intentions because I agree that Natural Gas Vehicles is a viable short-term solution until Solar and Wind Power, and Electric Vehicles are available. At Ackerman, I was an art director on the redesign of Chesapeake’s website. We did a ton of designs, so following this post are the other 5 comps I did and where CHK finally landed. Site is still in development as of this post. Enjoy!

Integris MicroSite #1

Integris Guardian Angel MicroSite

This is a microsite that I did while working at Ackerman McQueen. It was for the Guardian Angel Program at Integris Hospitals. The whole concept of a microsite is basically a site that doesn’t contain enough content to justify a whole site, so this is the result of one of those situations. The whole site was built in Flash, I just did the design and layout. I enjoy the result. It’s clean and communicates the message fast and effectively in an aesthetically-pleasing way.

Cottonseed Oil Tour

Cottonseed Oil Tour Website

This website was a ton of fun to work on. All in all, it went off without a hitch. Harvest PR brought me and the team on to design a website to host an awesome PR campaign to promote the use of Cottonseed Oil in the restaurant and food manufacturing industry. They came up with the concept, which they let us run with and run we did. I absolutely love the way this turned out and I think we all agree that we were privileged to work on such a nice site. AMS did the coding (of course) and the launch and Tim Hill did the flash animation on the Tour Page. I designed all of the graphics and Art Directed the project. Visit site, here.

Lanikai Properties

Lanikai Properties Website

I was really excited to be included in this project, given to me by AMS. Joseph and Mike Lepis put me down as Art Director on this project and also allowed me to design the majority of the graphics. The website was a huge success with the client, Lanikai Properties. It functions as a real estate website for Lanikai, HI, which was challenging when trying to incorporate lots of custom graphics. The design incorporates images that conjure the Hawaii lifestyle — surfing, lounging at the beach and other things like bamboo and palm trees. I also designed the logo version for the site, which I really like. Visit site here.

Restore Splash Page

ReStore Web

Well, I guess technically, a splash page is an intro to a website, but this serves as a “Coming Soon” page for the ReStore Hangover Strips. Unfortunately, we no longer work for this client, so we never got to develop the full site, but you can see where we were headed with the design. Grungy diagonal lines with Web 2.0 graphics … mmmmm, what more could you ask for?
